Synopsis of the Play

This humble decision evolves into an unexpected turn of events. he Pope finds himself hostage in the home of Jewish taxi driver Samuel Leibowitz, demanding a very special ransom: One Day of World Peace. This act has a major impact on the Pope, Samuel, his family and, in fact, the world.
