“As Seen on TV” follows the misadventures of a group of professional actors who suddenly find themselves forced to do the very thing they’ve only pretended to do. For one night only, that one thing is to restore the holiday spirit to the Winter Falls festival, or some shit like that.
Inspired by GalaxyQuest, Tropic Thunder, and The Three Amigos, this unscripted play blurs the line between parody and homage to the TV and movies of our time.

Maestro will be back at Badhuistheater for 2026!
Twelve improvisers take the stage and you, the audience, score every scene you see. The game pieces march across the scoreboard; the lowest-scoring players are gradually knocked out; and at the end of the night, the last person standing is crowned Maestro and awarded the coveted Canadian Five-Dollar Bill.
